Conejos County Champion Community
Con-Cepts took many significant steps in achieving its goals in 2001. The group worked closely with Conejos County to obtain community input and involvement in the planning process. Con-Cepts sought out and developed many significant partnerships throughout the year. These partnerships assisted in completion of a marketing plan and three grant proposals. An Operation Roundup Foundation grant was obtained, proposals for the Empowerment Zone and Renewal Community HUD grant were written and submitted. The Community and Neighborhood Development Office (CANDO) worked with Con-Cepts and Conejos to provide technical and coordination assistance as part of a statewide pilot program. Con-Cepts celebrated its years achievements and set plans for goals in 2002.
