Jackson County Enterprise Community
The Jackson County Development Council, Inc. (JCDC) has struggled due to a lack of staff needed to implement the strategic plan. With our partners and collaborative efforts, the following has been accomplished:
* 32 homes constructed
* 38 homes rehabilitated
* 9 home weatherized
* $865,586 housing funds
* $615,000 infrastructure funds
* $178,000 transportation funds
* $73,468 job and tax credits
* 6 new businesses
* 136 new jobs
With the continued help from community participation, partnerships and alliances that we have established and with recent staff additions and existing staff, JCDC will now accelerate the implementation of the strategic plan.
